Ladera Community Church Preschool is located in a lovely rural setting in
Portola Valley. The preschool was founded in 1966 as a community
outreach of Ladera Community Church, but there is no religious education
in the curriculum.
Our mission is to offer all children a safe, inviting and nurturing
environment that stimulates curiosity and creativity while inspiring a lifetime
love of learning.
We follow a play-based, developmentally appropriate approach to teaching
and learning. Our programs focus on the whole child, encouraging a
positive sense of self while fostering physical, intellectual, social and
emotional development.
We are a non-profit, NAEYC-accredited preschool that welcomes children
of any culture or religious background, and provides tuition assistance.
The preschool is also a local model for incorporating children with special
needs.
