This preschool experience is designed to help children develop
self-confidence through play as they make discoveries about their world and
practice language, motor and social skills.

The two day per week, 2.5 hour program offers a nurturing environment which
stimulates all the senses. Children have the freedom to explore
developmentally appropriate activities inside and outside in our rural setting.

As children transition to a school routine in September, parents and
caregivers are expected to be available as children build trust with their new
teachers.

Children in our 2s program do not need to be potty trained. We have a ratio of
four teachers to sixteen children, in order to meet each child's needs.
The curriculum in the 3s program is designed to help children explore,
appreciate and take advantage of the learning environment, providing a solid
foundation for later school experiences.

The daily routine balances teacher-directed instruction with child-directed
interests, with the aim to stimulate curiosity, language, practice self help skills
and develop strength and coordination.

Teachers offer a safe place for children's emotional growth and social skills
fostering cooperation and the development of friendships with peers.

The 3s program offers a year-long comprehensive science unit as well as a
weekly music enrichment program.

test motor skills, to expand concepts of language, to pursue new ideas and
very importantly, to build self esteem.

Weekly large and small group learning centers include math, science,
language, literacy, creative art, building, writing and dramatic play.

The Pre-K program incorporates the "Writing Without Tears" writing
curriculum, a year-long comprehensive science unit as well as a weekly music
